The new MDP will set the course toward realizing a healthy, prosperous, and resilient future. The process of developing a new MDP will call on the community to rise to the challenge of building the community for future generations.

First and foremost, it will reflect the community’s vision for Lloydminster and will strategically address the community’s immediate needs. It will also create policies to guide future decision-making in Lloydminster, providing Council and the community the tools with an overarching framework to guide future development andto achieve the community’s vision over the next 30 years.

Finally, the new MDP should help improve Lloydminster’s ability to make defensible decisions related to growth and public improvements.
